DAC Foundation, Kids IN Detroit, in conjunction with the Detroit Cycling Championship, are gathering new and used bikes to give to 130 kids in the city of Detroit. Kids will be presented with the bikes on September 9, during the Detroit Cycling Championship and learn about basic safety checks, Join us in helping make a difference in the community. In its 130 year, the Detroit Athletic Club (DAC) has honored amateur athletics since the founding in 1887. Besides celebrating amateur athletics, the DAC has embraced the community and provided a helping hand to many in the city of Detroit. The Detroit Cycling Championship has a philanthropic aspect in the DAC Foundation, referencing Kids IN Detroit, Bike Giveaway to donate 130 new and gently used bikes to children in the city of Detroit. They will have mechanical safety checks and presented to the children at the Detroit Cycling Championship.
